General Gablenz Memorial
Not far from IT CENTRUM Apartments, there is the General Gablenz Memorial from 1868 on the hill of Šibenik near Trutnov. The cast-iron memorial was built as a 20-meter high lookout tower and resembles its obelisk. Inside the obelisk, the stairs lead up to the top, from where there is a view of the entire battlefield as well as the city and its surroundings. The remains of General Gablenz are stored in the crypt. It is a cultural national monument.
